Marina di Pietrasanta, well known as a seaside resort, offers to the tourist the most beautiful natural beauties in a wonderful landscape (in a range of few kms you can find the beach, the sea, the pinewoods and the mountains), in an atmosphere of quite relax. Marina di Pietrasanta comprehends Focette, Motrone, Tonfano and Fiumetto (from the south to the north) along a white sandy beach stretcing for some five kms. Built in a big pinewood, these centres are made by elegant villas and hotels surrounded by the greenery; they offer high-level services, suggestive roads, tennis-courts surrounded by pinetrees, shops and famous night-clubs where international-level shows are organized. Tonfano has much more urban characteristics. It hosts the town-centre and the main tourist services and equipments.

In summer qualified cultural programs (prose, dance, music, cinema and cabaret) take place in the big pinewood surrounding the famous villa where the poet D'Annunzio had lived and had been inspired in writing his famous "Alcyone".

In summer in the Versiliana Park take place the famous Festival, which includes a qualified cultural programs (prose, dance, music, cinema and cabaret). The "Versiliana Cafè" started in early 80's, when tv talk-shows not even existed and since the beginning it was a great succes. Every single day, in july and august, Romano Battaglia interviews in the Cafè garden people from the world of politic, journalism, sport, fashion etc..
